Transport in Harpenden Harpenden has very good transport links to London and major local towns, with M1, A1 and M25 within easy reach. The Village is only 20 minutes from London on the Thameslink line and also has easy access to London Luton airport by either rail or car. Local bus services operate to the market towns of St Albans and Hemel Hempstead and the shopping centres at Watford and Luton.
